A gift, given in their honor.
For someone whose stories you’ve always loved hearing. And the ones you haven’t heard yet.
The Invitation is a privately commissioned storytelling experience, beginning with a personal invitation and ending with a beautifully crafted book.

More than another thing to keep.
There are gifts we enjoy for a moment, and gifts that give us time to do something meaningful. This one begins with an invitation.
You arrange the experience. Your loved one receives a personal note explaining what you’ve chosen for them: time set aside to revisit the things they’ve kept and share the stories that come with them.
They decide what to share, when to begin, and whether to accept.

Their memories. Their way.
We meet in familiar surroundings and begin with a few objects that matter to them. There is no formal life story to prepare.
An old photograph might lead to a story about childhood. A piece of jewelry might bring back a voice, a place, or a person they haven’t thought about in years.
Each conversation becomes part of a book that reflects their life in their own words.

Carefully remembered. Beautifully kept.
We photograph the objects, write the stories, and arrange everything into a personal keepsake.
They review the pages before printing and decide what may be shared.
A gift they can enjoy now, and one their family can return to later.
Four simple steps.
We begin with you.
A complimentary consultation about the person you’d like to honor, the occasion, and the experience you have in mind.
They receive their invitation.
A printed introduction to the experience, presented by you or sent on your behalf.
We hear their stories.
When they’re ready, we arrange the conversations and choose the objects they’d like to include.
Their book takes shape.
We write, photograph, and design. They review the finished pages and choose who receives the book.
